Our entries cover all journalistic media – television, radio, print and online. Winners will be diverse individuals from a range of specialisms across all types of principal journalism including investigative, news, reviews, columns and feature writing.

• BEST TV PRESENTER /JOURNALIST – this award will be presented to the individual who, through their work, demonstrates all that is best in journalism created and championed by minority ethnic media professionals. 
• BEST RADIO PRESENTER /JOURNALIST – this award will be presented to the individual who, through their work, demonstrates all that is best in journalism created and championed by minority ethnic media professionals. 
• BEST NEWSPAPER/ONLINE JOURNALIST – this award recognises an outstanding individual who demonstrates the best in minority ethnic talent and is open to entrants including those from newspapers and online platforms. For this category entrants should upload PDFs of three examples of their work. 
• DIVERSITY REPORT OF THE YEAR – this award is open to entries from all media platforms and recognises the contribution made in the reporting of issues relating to ethnicity and diversity. 
• NEWCOMER OF THE YEAR – this award will be presented to the very best new talent from British broadcasting and is open to individuals who have been working in the media for less than two years. 
• LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT – this award recognises an individual who throughout their career has demonstrated all that is best in ethnic minority journalism.
